PROJECT TYPE: FInterior Design + Furnishings

GENERAL CONTRACTOR:Innovative Design Concepts

PHOTOGRAPHER: Shannon Hammond

After renting out their beach house for many years, our clients decided it was time to make it their own. They are business owners with three adult children and wanted a second home that felt personal, comfortable and ready for family visits.

Blakely designed the whole-home furnishings, a new kitchen and renovations to the home’s two full bathrooms. The house has a small footprint across three levels. The first floor includes a lounge, mini bar, changing room and powder room. The second holds the children’s bedrooms and a bathroom with integrated laundry. The kitchen, family room and primary suite occupy the third floor, where the main living spaces take advantage of the views over East Matunuck Beach.
