We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team!
We design luxury private residences throughout the East Coast, specializing in new construction, large-scale renovations, and fully furnished homes. Our projects typically involve whole-home design, interior architecture, and close collaboration with builders, architects, and trades. This work requires designers who are both creative thinkers and technically strong problem-solvers, comfortable moving between big-picture concept development and the detailed documentation required to bring complex homes to life.
This role is open to designers at different stages of their careers. Whether you are an emerging designer with exceptional technical training or a more experienced designer ready to take on greater project responsibility, we are ultimately looking for someone with strong design instincts, technical proficiency, and a desire to grow within a collaborative studio environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Working closely with the Director of Design and senior team members, the Interior Designer will contribute to the development and execution of full-scope residential design projects.
Responsibilities may include:
• Developing design concepts and contributing to overall project vision
• Creating space plans and developing interior architectural details
• Selecting fixtures, finishes, and furnishings
• Preparing FF&E specifications and schedules
• Assisting in developing project budgets and procurement documentation
• Producing detailed construction documentation and millwork drawings in Revit
• Participating in design presentations and client meetings
• Visiting job sites and coordinating with builders, architects, and trades
• Sourcing furniture, materials, and finishes from high-end vendors
• Supporting project organization and documentation throughout the design processDepending on experience level, this role may also include managing portions of projects, leading design development, or mentoring junior team members.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for designers who are both technically strong and deeply passionate about thoughtful residential design.
The ideal candidate possesses:
• A 4-year degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Experience working on residential interior design projects, particularly new construction or renovation
• Strong technical drawing skills and proficiency in Revit, including construction documentation and millwork drawings
• Familiarity with high-end residential vendors and materials
• A solid understanding of the residential construction process and comfort working on active job sites
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, thoughtful work
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently and within a team
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to continually grow as a designer.While experience is valued, demonstrated skill, technical capability, and strong design thinking are equally important.
