We’re back in the Greenwich house and ready to show you the dining and entertaining areas we designed in this family’s new, open concept space.
(If you missed our kitchen reveal, read here!)
As a quick refresh, our goal was to keep the palette light and crisp and the design sophisticated and comfortable…
The entertaining area before…
Yes, that’s part of the wall we removed to make space in the kitchen…. here’s what it looks like now!
Sophisticated. Comfortable. Welcoming. Not to mention a seamless transition from the bar, dining table, and kitchen.
- An area rug and rattan side tables help separate the entertaining area from the dining room
- We kept the existing brick to add warmth to the scene (and save on budget!)
- A faux concrete cocktail table looks classy and anchors the space
I foresee many Rhode Island winter nights spent warming in front of this beautiful fireplace!
Now, let’s go to the dining area.
The dining and entertaining area before…
…And after! Remember when I said we used furniture configurations and lighting to separate spaces? This space is a great example. The entertaining space flows into the dining area, yet they each stand on their own.
This is now the perfect space for hosting lively Sunday brunches and gathering with friends and good wine.
I’ll be sharing the Master Bathroom Reveal in our next post, but in the meantime, be sure to download our Interior Design Project Planner if you haven’t yet!
